Pork, stewed with paprika
Ingredients for 6 portions:
- 800 g of pork (gammon or scapula)
- 2 average bulbs
- 3 large paprikas (500 g in the sum in the cleared state)
- 800 g of tomatoes in own juice
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation:
We cut meat on small slices. Onions pepper - straws is cut by half rings.
In pan with thick bottom on strong fire we warm 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. In 3-4 calling we fry meat to ruddy crust, for 3-4 minutes on calling. We shift to plate.
We reduce fire to average. We put onions in pan. We fry, stirring slowly, about 5 minutes.
We add pepper and we fry, stirring slowly, 5 more minutes.
We put in pan meat, the kneaded tomatoes together with juice, salt and pepper to taste. We pour in 250 ml of hot water.
We bring on strong fire to the boil, then we reduce flame to minimum, we cover pan and we extinguish to softness of meat, about an hour.
We give with potatoes, rice or vegetable garnish.
