Rahat lakoum
Ingredients:
- granulated sugar 450g.
- corn starch 200g.
- pistachio nuts 300-350g.
- icing sugar 60g.
- water 250g.
- lemon juice 10-15g.
Preparation:
Sugar with water is brought to the boil, we add lemon juice and thin stream we pour starch, intensively mixing, we cook before solidification. In flat pan we fill half of pistachio nuts, we fill in with the turned-out weight, we strew from above with the remained pistachio nuts and we allow to cool down. When weight has cooled down, we cut it large cube and from above we strew with icing sugar.
