House kvass
Ingredients:
- half-loaves of rye bread
- 3 l of water
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 50 g of yeast powder
Preparation:
We cut bread. We do croutons. We fill with them 3-liter jar with boiled hot water (not boiled water). We add sugar (2 tablespoons). We add yeast. We stir contents banks. We close it gauze (better to put in some layers), we fix elastic. We put in warm place and we cover with fabric. We stand kvass of 2 days. Then we move away him in the refrigerator. When kvass is cooled, we will filter it and we can add sugar to taste.
