Ingredients:
For dough:
Flour — 2 1/2 glasses
Egg — 1 piece
Salt — 1 teaspoon
water — 1 glass (warm)
For stuffing:
Beef — 2 kg
Onions — 4 pieces
Black pepper — 1/2 teaspoons
Caraway seeds — 1 teaspoon
Salt — 1 teaspoon
Potatoes — 1 piece
Olive oil — 2 tablespoons
In average bowl to mix together dry ingredients for dough. To make deepening in the middle and to fill in with warm water, to add 1 egg. To knead within 5-6 minutes. Impose dough with film and let's stand within 10-20 minutes.
We cut meat small slices. It is also possible to use the meat grinder to make forcemeat.
To chop onions. To add spices.
To add oil and it is good to mix onions with meat. The stuffing is ready. It is possible to add small cut potatoes, but it is not obligatory step.
To roll dough. To powder with flour to avoid adhesion. To put in long wide strip. To cut on squares.
To place stuffing on rectangles from dough.
To seal on corners from four parties.
Bring water in double boiler to the boil. Place manti in double boiler. It is possible to prepare on steam bath. To prepare within 45 minutes. We season with black sprinkling pepper and sour cream.
