Danish orange puffs
Ingredients:
1 big orange
1/2 glasses of sugar
1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon
Puff pastry
Preparation:
Heat oven to 200 degrees. Lay baking tray paper for pastries.
Rub dried peel of orange and mix it with sugar and cinnamon.
It is thin roll dough 2-3 mm thick in long rectangle. Apply orange sugar on all surface.
Sharp knife dough on thin long strips and twist everyone in form of ready puffs (see drawing).
Repeat with all dough. From above strew ready puffs with the remained sugar. Before pastries put puffs in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes, and then send to oven for 14-18 minutes to golden-brown crust (sugar has to caramelize slightly).
