Baklava Armenian
Ingredients
for dough:
Wheat flour — 2 St.
Desi — 50 g
Yeast — 20 g
Egg — 1 piece.
Water — ? St.
for stuffing:
Walnuts — 250 g
Sugar — 1 St.
Honey — 100–120 g
Egg — 1 piece.
Cinnamon
Cardamom
Preparation:
1. We kindle desi on small fire.
2. We shake up egg with the kindled oil, we add the yeast divorced in warm water, flour, we knead dough and we leave it to approach for 1,5–2 hours.
3. During this time we prepare stuffing. Walnuts it is dried on frying pan, we crush them knife, we mix with sugar, cinnamon and cardamom.
4. We will divide the suitable dough into two parts. We will roll one part with thickness in 2 mm, and another – in 3 mm.
5. We grease baking tray with desi, we spread on it layer of dough which is thicker, from above layer in 4 mm we put stuffing, then the layer of dough is thinner. At the edges we pinch dough.
6. We leave baklava to stand for about 10 minutes that has approached, then we grease it with the shaken-up yolk and we cut all product on rombik of the identical size.
7. We put baking tray in hot oven (200-220 C) and we bake baklava of 20-25 minutes.
8. Generously we water ready hot baklava with honey that has become impregnated not only upper layer, but also stuffing.
Sweet honey Armenian baklava according to the recipe is ready. We make tea and we enjoy taste!
