Honey toffees
If you for one reason or another cannot use honey - replace it with similar amount of sugar. As option, you can add 50 g of the kindled chocolate together with oil - in that case you will have chocolate toffees.
Ingredients (+/-72 pieces):
- 300 g of sugar
- 120 g of honey
- 120 g of desi
- 250 ml of fat cream or sour cream
Preparation:
1. Honey and sugar is mixed together in bucket and we put on small fire. We bring to the boil and we cook till amber color, about 7-10 minutes.
2. In parts we add oil of room temperature. We pour in hot cream.
3. We cook to the necessary consistence. We check for readiness: we drip on couple of drops of our mix on cold surface, we allow to stiffen and we try, whether the consistence arranges.
4. The baking tray or tray is dimmed by parchment (it has to be well oiled, differently tightly will stick to candies). We pour out ready mix and we allow to cool down, but not completely.
5. Still the soft iris is knifed on small squares.
6. We allow to cool down completely.
