Nests
Ingredients:
nest macaroni,
mincemeat,
onions,
carrots,
cheese
Preparation:
to lay out the nests macaroni in the frying pan (is desirable with high boards) greased rast.masly, and to fill in with water that practically closed nests completely, to close cover. when water begins to boil, to lower a little fire and to slightly open cover. to fry mincemeat with onions, carrots, to add a little tomato ketchup, basilicas, oregano, to salt. macaroni has to be al dente as Italians speak: firm, but not rigid. we spread nests in form, in core forcemeat, we strew with cheese and in oven for 5 min.
